Semester hours required for graduation: 50-51
The diploma in Industrial Maintenance Technology from Technical
College is a comprehensive program in which the graduate will gain multiple
skills, enabling him/her to gain an entry-level position in one of several
area industries.
Graduates will be qualified to be employed as entry-level employees
in area industries. Specifically, a graduate would be employed as a "trouble-shooter"
for automated manufacturing companies, many of which focus on the production
of petroleum-based products. The Industrial Maintenance Technology graduate
will be able to assess problematic areas with equipment and determine the
most feasible solution for correcting the problem by conducting mechanical
repairs.
